Authors, Publishers, and Sponsors

Attention Authors

I'm always eager to feature new books from both established and up-and-coming authors.  If you are interested in seeing your book featured on Kelly's Classroom Online, please message me at with the details about your book.

In order for your book to be considered for this website it needs to be and/or have the following:

🍎 high-interest level for children in early education to early elementary (preschoolers, prekindergarten, and up to 3rd grade)
🍎 bold illustrations to capture and maintain children's interest
🍎 age-appropriate content for young children
🍎 easy for teachers and homeschooling parents to integrate into their lessons
🍎 interesting to me as a teacher and blogger

I also feature books that are written specifically for parents and teachers... teaching strategies, craft and activity resources, helping children with homework, teacher and parent self-care, etc.

Important Note: Because of the large volume of requests I receive, I'm not writing book reviews right now.  (I need to catch up first!)  I'm only accepting guest posts for books at this time.  If you are an author and would like to write an article about your book, let's talk!  Please message me at to get the conversation started.

I will not consider books with:
🍎 clip art illustrations and books that look like they were printed on a home computer
🍎 'potty humor'...  no poop, no underwear, no boogers, no fart jokes, no slapstick
🍎 children disrespecting teachers, parents, adults
🍎 blood, guts, violence, zombies, substance abuse, suicide, racism, homophobia, bullying, and conspiracy theories

Preference will be given to books that contain multicultural, STEM, science, and environmental themes.

Attention Publishers

From time to time, publishing companies contact me directly about reading and reviewing some of the new books they released.  If you are a publisher and would like to work together, please send a message to  Recent collaborations include:

Sponsored Posts, Guest Posts, and Product Reviews

People also ask me if I would host a sponsored post, guest post, or a review of one of their products.  If you are interested in a sponsored post, I charge $25 to $50 depending on the topic and length.  If you are interested in a product review, there is no charge, but I require a free full-sized sample of your product.  There is no charge for guest posts, however, your post must meet certain requirements.

Note #1: I will only consider sponsored posts, guest posts, or product reviews that would be of interest to my readers... teachers and homeschooling parents of young children.  If they can't use it while they teach, then I more than likely won't agree to it.  (If I don't like it... I definitely won't agree to it!)

Note #2: Since I used to sell resources on Teachers Pay Teachers and I still have my free items still available there, I do not review teacher resources being sold on Teachers Pay Teachers.  At some point in time, I may start actively selling there again.  If I decide to do so, reviewing other sellers' TpT resources could become a conflict of interest in the future.

Note #3: Guest posts are reserved for upcoming authors, homeschooling parents, and classroom teachers only.  If you represent a service such as an online store, a preschool or daycare, a subscription box service, a conference or professional development class, etc., please see the above information about sponsored posts.
